Synetics Solutions Inc., founded in 2000 and formerly headquartered at 18870 NE Riverside Parkway, Portland, Oregon 97230, designed, manufactured, and integrated automation and airflow management solutions for semiconductor equipment manufacturers. Products included automated wafer handling components (robots, controllers, software, aligners), airflow management products (mini-environments, fan filter units, chemical vapor filtration, temperature/humidity control systems), and equipment front-end modules (EFEMs). Had strategic relationship with Yaskawa Electric Corporation. Major customers included Applied Materials, Axcelis Technologies, Novellus Systems. Acquired by Brooks Automation on June 30, 2006. Industries: semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
